General Manager - Florida

**Applicant** must currently live in State of Florida and must have a minimum of 3 years of Restoration experience as a Supervisor, General Manager, or C-Level.

Principal Responsibilities: 

As the General Manager of the Florida Branch at NDS, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, aimed at overseeing the overall management and success of the assigned branch. While not limited to the following, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Branch Management:

  • Lead and manage the branch's operations, ensuring efficient project and staff management, marketing, sales, and overall performance.
  • Take accountability for the profit and loss of the assigned office, implementing strategies to drive financial success.
  • Develop and promote the NDS brand throughout the assigned region, establishing a strong market presence.

2. Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all construction, environmental, and restoration projects adhere to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with applicable safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of employees and clients.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders such as large insurance companies, hospitals, property managers, general contractors, multi-family housing, schools/universities, municipalities, and other end users.
  • Identify opportunities for account development and growth within the assigned region.

4. Team Development:

  • Recruit and hire staff as needed, nurturing and developing employees to build a high-performing regional team.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, promoting their professional growth.

5. Industry Engagement:

  • Actively participate in relevant industry-specific associations, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Attend local and regional industry events on a regular basis, representing NDS and expanding professional networks.

6. Risk Management and Planning:

  • Proactively identify potential problems and risks, developing strategic plans to prevent issues and mitigate emerging risks.
  • Apply and promote the company values of NDS to reinforce behaviors that strengthen a positive company culture.

7. Additional Duties:

  • Undertake any other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the branch and the company.

Education, Experience & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred. Will accept experience in leu of education.
  • At least 5 years of management experience.
  • Previous job titles that align with qualified candidates may include branch manager, regional manager, vice president, president, chief operating officer, district manager, director, among others.
  • Ability to attend networking functions beyond normal business hours.
  • Willingness to travel when called upon.
  • Valid Driver license
  • Willing to submit to background check and drug testing.
  • Outgoing, driven, tenacious, and team-oriented attitude.
