New Business Development

Commercial Business Development:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team at NDS. As a leader in our industry, we specialize in providing exceptional services to commercial property holders, adjusters, consultants, and brokers. Marketing & Business Development Accountabilities:

  • Generate new commercial business opportunities by establishing and nurturing relationships with commercial property holders, adjusters, consultants, and brokers.
  • Drive sales through proactive sales activities, networking, lead generation, and participation in tradeshows and industry associations.
  • Promote and market NDS to new customers, targeting major accounts and key executives.
  • Lead participation in industry functions, such as trade shows and marketing events.
  • Document and track prospect and client data using our CRM system.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and focus on generating high-value leads.
  • Expand business relationships to drive sales nationally.
  • Identify appropriate target accounts and effectively sell our services.
  • Collaborate with regional sales team members to grow assigned national accounts.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals.
  • Meet sales activity thresholds through client and prospect meetings, events, calls, and emails.
  • Document and track opportunities and business development activities in our CRM program.

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain proficiency in our services and associated terminology.
  • Adhere to company employment standards and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Contribute positively to the company culture and community.
  • Perform any other duties or projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in restoration sales, preferably calling on commercial accounts, multifamily, hospitality and national insurance accounts such as commercial large loss adjusters, consultants, or brokers.
  • Ability to attend networking functions beyond normal business hours.
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time.
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience inputting and tracking sales-related data into a CRM system.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Outgoing, driven, tenacious, and team-oriented attitude.
  • 50% travel required. Additional out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
